Jonathan Feist is a songwriter, music educator, and book publisher. He has worked with Berklee College of Music since 1998 in a variety of roles, including developing and teaching online courses and leading Berklee Press, Berklee’s book publishing division, where he served as editor in chief. He has authored, edited, or otherwise helped publish more than 250 books, including numerous college-level textbooks on songwriting used at Berklee and other institutions worldwide. Jonathan is the founder and leader of the Gloucester Songwriters Circle and the publisher of Orchard Fire Publishing. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in composition from New England Conservatory of Music.
