​​Do you provide instruments?

It is critical that all students have an instrument for home practice. Scholarship students will have access to free loaner instruments for as long as they continue their lessons.​​

 

Do you provide sheet music?

Your teacher can provide guidance on acquiring the sheet music for your lessons.​​

 

Can I observe my child's lessons?

Parents and caregivers are welcome to sit in on their child’s lessons.  If you would like to observe a class prior to registration, please contact us.​​

 

Do you provide a practice space? ​

Studio space may be offered to registered students who would like to practice during weekday morning and early afternoon hours.  Weekend access is not possible at this time. Please contact us to inquire about studio availability.​​

 

Is there public transportation to GMW?​

Yes, we are located at 20 Maplewood Avenue, just steps away from the Gloucester commuter rail station serving Rockport, West Gloucester, Manchester and Beverly.  The Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) also provides bus service to the Gloucester commuter rail station (Lines #2, #3 and #4). GMW is a short walk from most locations in downtown Gloucester​​.

Parking and Access

We have designated parking spaces in our lot and there is some on-street parking in the vicinity. There is a ramp for wheelchair access to the facility; for further information regarding access, please contact us.​​
 

Health and safety

Students are asked to request a video lesson if they have a cold, cough or other illness.  GMW is a smoke-free facility; please do not smoke on the premises. A staff member will always be present in the facility during lessons.
